Tom is a passionate new graduate podiatrist with a strong interest in lower limb biomechanics, sporting demographics, diabetic care/foot checks, nail surgery and injury rehabilitation. Having recently completed a Bachelor of Podiatry at University of South Australia, he enjoys helping patients return to activities pain-free and takes pride in delivering treatment plans that create real improvements in foot function and comfort.
With previous experience working with orthotic design/manufacturing, Tom has an appreciation for the role of custom orthotic therapy and footwear in managing foot and lower limb conditions. He takes a practical, evidence-based approach to care and enjoys working with a wide range of patients; from paediatrics through to athletes.
Having grown up playing a variety of sports and being a runner himself, Tom understands first hand the impact that foot and lower limb pain can have on performance and daily life. His own positive experiences with podiatry treatment inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare, choosing podiatry as a specialised and rewarding niche within the field.
Outside of the clinic, Tom enjoys staying active, spending time with friends (and many pets) – as well as whatever his new hobby is for the month!
